Yep, that is correct, and I know I don't know it all. The way I see education is we are taught a set amount of information deemed important by the teacher, and what we, as the student will seek out around these topics. Fortunately for me, and you, I have a rather curious mind and would often ask "Why?" or "Does that mean, or explain......?" As one can imagine it got me into all sorts of interesting discussions and really annoyed others. It has also lead me to work through some pretty big health issues with clients to support them.
Why would I confess "Not knowing it all" to an audience that is seeking help? To let you know I too am human, and while my insights and crystal ball frequently works on emotions and things the human body can be very elusive in sharing. The body constantly talks to us with symptoms and using the various messages of dis-ease, aches, discomfort, degeneration etc as messages to self care and get real.
Over the last 2-3 years, I have been on a fairly intense learning curve drawing me deeper into an unknown world. Thankfully I have had quite a few clients who came to me with 'unexplainable' symptoms or with such confusion and desperation that I was at somewhat of a loss to understand the rational behind what the body was doing and saying. For many who have been around me for a while know I am a big believer in metaphysics, and emotional messages the body gives us, but there are times when the body just needs to be heard first so the emotions have an easier space to come to the fore. Yikes, talk about being pushed out of my comfort zone - 'not knowing' and needing to step up to the mark set by clients and their referring GP or specialist.
All I can say is Thank you to each client as each presents me with an opportunity to learn and grow. While I haven't let go of the powerful, yet airy fairy thinking (amazing changes came from this when supported with down to earth food and body support) to the concrete science, 'Right, tell me the logics of what the body is saying' has encouraged me to dig deep and take myself by the horns and study.
The end result to date...
