The power of intent has been a big focus in the guru's sphere this year, being authentic is another along with acceptance, gratitude, truly being thankful for the smallest of life's gifts.
Not sure what the trick is of how to get to the place of being at piece and one with what is being asked of us, though, what I do know is when being resist, avoid, deny, hide or stubbornly refuse to do what is in our best interest, then the internal friction and dis-chord creates dis-ease quicker and easier.
I have, over the year changed focus a few times. Why? Because I could, and because I needed to. Life changes and even when we make a decision, if it isn't on our life path as we are meant to be, then the universe simply puts something in our way to change our course. Similar to when we were kids and we made water streams with the hose, dirt, pebbles and sticks. We played and learnt we could easily direct the flow if we put things in the water's way. Translate this into an adult world and we are still creating our flow of life by choosing careers, friends, foods, exercise, stress ors, down time, lessons, obstacles, challenges and things that remove things out of our path.
We can make all the plans for our world, generally with New Year's resolutions, and still come unstuck at the smallest, and more so with the biggest of things. The same goes with health. The big things - accidents, deep cuts, bad colds, and 'things' well they are just plain obvious and really grab your attention for change. It is the small things that add up to make either wellness or disability. I have created an infographic to help explain this.
The Seasons' Op!psortunity
Opps, a mistake, or unplanned good opportunity.
As the close of year is looming, and the opportunity is created to reflect and celebrate the true gifts of our life I challenge you to not focus on the number of friends, the richness of the table, or the number of gifts you can buy for others. My challenge to you, and me, is to really see and appreciate you as you are. We are all here for a reason, and while it may not seem pleasant, that is the real reason. Remember, a pebble in the shoe tells us to take our shoes off and remove the irritant. Things not working, encourages us to take stock and see what it is that isn't working. Just a pebble, no matter how small will create a hole in the sock, a blister in the foot and disease if left alone long enough, so with life.
This is the challenge: For each
